Introduction
These terms and conditions apply to all transactions placed online. By placing an order with us you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions.
All references to 'we' refers to The Charm people. All references to 'you' or the 'customer' refer to the person or persons purchasing or agreeing to purchase goods or services from the company. References to the Web Site includes all URL's owned or licensed by The Charm People.
Queensland law governs these terms and conditions and your use of our Web Site and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Queensland court. Nothing in these terms and conditions will be deemed to affect your non-excludable statutory rights.
This Web Site and our terms and conditions have been designed for use within Australia and under Queensland law. Whilst we are happy to supply products to outside Queensland, we give no warranty, express or implied, that the use of this Web Site or the placing of any order through this Web Site from outside Queensland complies with any applicable non-Queensland laws or regulations.
Placing an order & payment
Orders can be placed online through the Web Site via our secure server. The only method of payment accepted is credit card or direct cash payments via PayPal. Please do not e-mail your credit card or bank details to The Charm People, we can not be held responsible for the security of information sent in this way.
Prices
Prices and availability of all goods is subject to change without prior notice. All prices are shown in Australian Dollars ($) and are inclusive of GST at the current rate.
Products
We make every effort to ensure that product specifications and descriptions are as accurate as possible, we accept no responsibility for errors or omissions, we reserve the right to alter product specifications without prior notice. The Charm People make every effort to ensure that the colours depicted on the Web Site match as closely as possible those of the actual product, obviously due to variations in monitor resolutions and technical limitations some colours may vary.
Shipping
We offer either standard postage or insured postage. We recommend that you choose to register any order of high value. Orders sent with standard postage will not be able to be tracked once posted.
Prices:
- Australia Standard Postage - $2 per order
- Australia Registered Postage - $5 per order
- Rest of the World Standard Postage - $4 per order
- Rest of the World Registered Postage - $8 per order
A Contract between the customer and The Charm People for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been accepted, payment has been processed and the goods have been dispatched and adopted. This does not affect the customer's statutory rights.
Exchanges & Returns
The Charm People hope you will be satisfied with your purchases, if we dispatch the wrong item or you find that the goods are faulty, you can return them for a full refund (including any delivery charges, at our current rates) within 14 days after the receipt of the goods. In the unlikely event of this happening, simply return the goods along with a copy of the origial order, to the address below. You will be refunded via PayPal as per the original transaction.
If the items have been dispatched as per your order, but are unwanted due to their description on our Web Site being misleading or incorrect, you may return them for a refund (including delivery charge, at our current rates) within 14 days after the receipt of the goods.
If we have dispatched the goods as ordered but you do not want them, they may be returned for an exchange only, within 7 days after the receipt of the goods. In this case any delivery charges incurred are non-refundable. Any price differences between the items and postage charges will need to be paid in full before the exchange items are dispatched.
Any items returned for refund or exchange must be unused, still have their original packaging, and be accompanied by a copy of the original order. Nothing in these conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
